No matter what your skill at photography or which photo paper we use, the quality of prints resulting from your digital camera or other digital file will depend largely upon the pixel size of the image. If enough pixels were not captured when the picture was taken, the resulting print quality and available sizes will be affected. It is not the size of the file in terms or memory (i.e. 500 kilobytes) but rather in terms of pixels (1280x960) that governs.

For any print size up to a 5x7, a file resolution of 1280x960 pixels should be sufficient to create a high quality print. For print sizes of 8x10 and above, we recommend a file resolution of 2048x1800 at a minimum. If you have any questions, please consult us as to how large of a quality print can be made with your file.
