Moulding is the term used to describe material that is cut and assembled into the outer structure of a picture frame. Hand carved wooden mouldings, gold-leafed mouldings and simple metal mouldings are among the hundreds of different frame styles from which you can choose in our shop. Wood and metal are the materials most often used to make mouldings and are offered in a variety of stains and finishes. In addition to the custom framing of flat artwork and the "shadow-box" framing of three-dimensional objects such as sports, political or military memorabilia, these mouldings are also used to create highly unique photo frames, striking framed mirrors and simple movie poster frames.
